Girl, 3, fighting for life after being pulled from St Helens lake
The child was rescued on Saturday afternoon
A three-year-old girl is continuing to fight for her life in hospital after being pulled from a lake in St Helens.
Merseyside Police officers were called to the lake near to Shirebrook Close, Thatto Heath at around 2:22pm. It follows a report made around 10 minutes earlier that a little girl managed to get out of a house nearby.
Officers performed CPR prior to the arrival of paramedics and the air ambulance.
The child was rushed to Alder Hey Children’s Hospital where she is continuing to be treated treated.
