The campaign aims to raise money for Centrepoint to tackle homesslessness

To mark his testimonial year, footballer Vincent Kompany set up and initiative, Tackle4MCR, to tackle rough sleeping in Manchester. Supported by Mayor of Greater Manchester Andy Burnham, a number of events have been organised across the year to encourage businesses and individuals to join the movement to elevate homelessness in the city.

Hits Radio Cash for Kids have joined forces with Tackle4MCR to launch a brand new campaign called#FootballFriday

The fundraising day encourages you to show your colours on Friday 28th June to tackle homelessness. By getting involved in #FootballFriday you'll be supporting young people in Greater Manchester who are at risk or have become homeless.

Cash for Kids and Tackle4MCR are supporting Centrepoint. All funds raised on #FootballFriday will go towards giving homeless young people a future.

Be a part of #FootballFriday

Encourage your colleagues or classmates to wear their football colours for the day, organised a charity football match or back football themed cakes. There's no rules on how you get involved, download a fundraising pack to help get your started.
