Key 103’s joining forces once again with Manchester City Council to help kick-start Christmas in Manchester.
Manchester Christmas Light Switch On is sponsored by Howarth Timber & Building Supplies and their branches in Manchester, Ashton, Oldham, Sale, Rochdale and Bury!
Mike Toolan and Matt Haslam will welcome international DJ Sigala to the stage and Corrie’s Brooke Vincent along a dazzling set of performers, singers and dancers for the annual outdoor party that will officially open the festive season in Manchester.
Albert Square will be the setting for the biggest show in the city as stars of stage and screen come out in force on Saturday, 4 November - topped off by a huge 10-minute firework display.
Fresh from their appearance on the X-Factor last year, the up and coming boy band Yes Lad will fill the heartthrob role at this year’s show before their promising music careers blossom before our very eyes.
You can also expect to see the cast of the hit-comedy stage show ELF: The Musical playing at the Lowry, Street Dance at The Dancehouse and the cast of the Little Women production playing at the Hope Mill Theatre.
The Manchester Christmas Light Switch-on sponsored by Howarth Timber is in partnership between Manchester City Council and Key 103. Manchester Christmas Lights event will be a little different this year. There will be searches when you arrive, so leave your bag at home to make sure you get in as quickly as possible - and get there early! As always the event is completely free, just get the family together and wrap up warm!
