Life is for living, getting out and enjoying every moment this summer. If you're heading out in the car as a family then here are 10 things that are guaranteed to happen...
1. 'Are we nearly there yet?' The kids will ask even when we've just got off the driveway!
2. Somebody needs the toilet as soon as you pass one. It doesn't matter how many times you ask the kids if they need to go before a journey, you're guaranteed that as soon as you are in the middle of nowhere nature will call.
3. Sweets are essential for journeys. But the best ones are always eaten before they make it to you!
4. There'll be lots of singing! 3 hours of Disney songs and you know all the words.
5. You'll play the up and down window game continuously throughout you journey. Someone is hot, someone is cold but either way never let a child have control of the switch!
6. There'll be some awesome games played. Being silly in the car is an incredible way to pass the time.
7. You've put an essential item in the boot. Whether it's a toy, comforter or the address of where you're going, you need to stop and get it out.
8. You'll have packed too much stuff. You've only gone for the day but have enough stuff for a week!
9. You'll get a bit lost. It seemed like a good idea to not have a sat nav but now you're going to have to ask a local for help!
10. You'll create some incredible memories. It's not just about the destination, it's about the journey!
