Body in canal confirmed as missing Salford teacher
Police had been searching for him after he was reported missing
Police have confirmed a body found in the Manchester Ship Canal is that of a missing Salford teacher.
29 year old John Curran had been missing from his home since Tuesday.
Greater Manchester Police say officers searching for John found his body in the canal on Friday night.
There are not believed to be any suspicious circumstances surrounding his death.
