Cancer Research UK Winter Run is back!
Returning to the Etihad Stadium on Sunday12th February the event features a 10km run, and shorter 5km and 2.5km distances ensuring runners of all abilities and ages are catered for.
There's an array of winter-themed zones to guarantee a fantastic atmosphere on the course, including the Key 103 Penguin Party. Runners will be set on their way with the trademark snow blast-off, and also recieve Husky High-Fives on the course to keep spirits and energy levels high. Polar Bear Hugs will greet runners as they cross the finish line.
The event is perfectly positioned in the calendar to motivate people to run through the winter months, a time of year when staying fit and active can be particularly difficult.
Unlike many specialised running events, the Cancer Research UK Manchester Winter Run’s fast and flat route is perfect for novices and experienced runners alike.
