Family Pay Tribute To Didsbury Crash Victim

The family of a man killed in a car crash in Didsbury, have described him as a “beautiful loving son and brother”.

At 12:10am on Wednesday 7 October 201, police were called to the Kingsway in Parrswood, near to the junction with Gawsworth Avenue, to a report of a collision.

Officers attended and found that a BMW had collided with the central reservation, and then gone into a bus stop.

The driver, 22-year-old Zaid Salei from the Hale area, suffered serious injuries and was taken to hospital where he sadly died a short time later.

Zaid’s mum, dad and sister have paid the following tribute to him:

“To our beautiful loving son and brother, you will be forever with us. Heaven now has the most precious angel. Love you always, Mummy, Daddy, Muna, Chloe and Julie xxxxx."

Police Sergeant Paul Higgins from GMP’s Serious Collision Investigation Unit said:

“We are providing support to Zaid’s family at this heart-breaking time for them and are trying to establish exactly what took place in the early hours of Wednesday morning.
