Foundation set up in memory of Nell Jones aims to help underprivileged children a year on from Arena attack

The Remembering Nell foundation is supporting three charities which help underprivileged children across the North West

A foundation set up in memory of Nell Jones is helping underprivileged children across the North West.

The Remembering Nell Foundation has been set up by the 14-year old's family - including her mum and dad Jayne and Ernie Jones.

They have chosen three charities to support over the next 12 months - they are The Wingate Centre, Cheshire Autism Practical Support and Wood Street Mission.

Earlier this month, a memorial garden was opened at Nell's school Holmes Chapel Comprehensive.

It was designed by her friends and will be a place for the whole community to remember her:
