Two men were shot, one in the back and one in the stomach, in separate incidents in Bolton.
The individual shot in the stomach is believed to still be in hospital with police describing the injury as "not life-threatening".
Two homes in Bolton and Salford were also the target of gunfire on Saturday night with bullets being fired at the properties within a period of 90 minutes.
These incidents follow a number of shootings over the past few weeks in the Salford area.
Police have yet to comment on whether any of the attacks were linked.
