Four teens arrested after a boy was robbed at knife point in Bury
The 13-year-old boy ran home where he told his parents about what happened.

Four teenagers are in custody after a 13-year old was robbed at knife point in Bury.
Around 10.30pm on Monday 19 August 2019, four teenagers in a silver Honda Civic approached the teenage boy, threatening him with a knife until he handed over his mobile phone, cash and some personal possessions.
The boy then ran home where he told his parents of the incident. They contacted the police to report the crime and included the number plate details and make of the vehicle the offenders were in.
The vehicle was located a short time later and specially trained drivers from GMP’s Tactical Vehicle Intercept Unit were deployed to the scene along with the police helicopter.
On Bury New Road a stinger was deployed to reduce the risk of a high speed pursuit and bring the vehicle to a safe stop before officers contained it with their vehicles.
Four teenage boys- aged 15,16,16 and 17- were arrested on suspicion of robbery. A knife along with the victim’s property was also recovered inside the vehicle.
Chief Inspector Jamie Collins, of GMP's Bury district, said: "Although the boy was not physically injured, he has understandably been left shaken by what happened. Nobody should be subject to such a terrifying ordeal.
"Thanks to the skills of the trained officers and the quick thinking of the victim to take the details of the vehicle, we have been able to arrest four suspects and recover the victim’s property.
