Members of a gang which made about eight thousand pounds a week selling poorly puppies to families across Greater Manchester have been jailed.

Members of a gang which made about eight thousand pounds a week selling poorly puppies to families across Greater Manchester have been jailed. The RSPCA launched a massive investigation after a number of members of the public complained to the charity that their new pets had become ill, some died.

James Brady, Kenneth Colwell, Louise Colwell, Stacey Greally Thomas Greally and Paula Wood all admitted a string of animal welfare offences.

The three men were jailed for a total of 50 weeks but the women were given suspended sentences.
