School girl glassed at house party in Stockport

A 15-year-old girl has been hit in the face with a glass bottle at a house party in Stockport.

The assault happened on Outwood Road in Heald Green at about 9pm on Saturday (19th October).

It's believed around 50 young people were at the party at the time.

Police have arrested a 15-year-old boy in connection with the incident and has since been released pending further enquiries.

Detective Sergeant Katherine Moriarty of GMP’s Stockport division, said: “This is a shocking assault on a young girl that has left her with serious injuries to her face.

“We have already made one arrest in connection to this case and we remain keen to speak to anyone who was present at the party or those who may have been on Outwood Road that evening to establish what happened.
