Donald Trump’s retweeting of several videos by far-right group Britain First has led to dozens of MPs including many from Greater Manchester speaking out against the US President.

Theresa May also condemned the tweets which sparked a strong response from the 45th President.

Theresa May said 'retweeting from Britain First was the wrong thing to do.'

The Prime Minister has been joined in criticising Trump by MPs from across the country including Gorton MP Afzal Khan:

In the commons today Heywood and Middleton MP Liz McInnes asked Home Secretary Amber Rudd whether anyone in government had asked Trump to take the tweets down - " I'll have to get back to you" was the reply.
