Man assaulted in front of his kids on a bus in Moston

The man in his 40s had asked another man to move so he could get his pram on the bus, but he became abusive

At around 5.15pm on 1 February 2019, a man in his 40s was assaulted as he was boarding a bus with his children on Moston Lane, near the Blue Bell Hotel.

He asked a man to move so he could get his pram on the bus. The man became abusive and dragged the victim from the bus before punching him to the head and kicking his back.

The offender, who's described as a white man, around 5ft 10, approximately 40-years-old and of a medium to stocky build, left the scene.

The victim was very shaken and required hospital treatment for bruising and cuts to his face, head, finger and back.

The victim’s children- aged one and six- witnessed their father being assaulted.
