Man charged after five year-old hit by car in Salford

A boy has been left with life-threatening injuries following a collision on Stern Avenue, in Ordsall on Saturday.
A man's since been arrested and charged.
Gavin Higgins, of no fixed address, has been charged with driving without insurance, driving otherwise than in accordance with a license and aggravated vehicle taking.
