One man has been charged on suspicion of murder after a fatal stabbing in Salford

A man has been charged with murder after a stabbing in Salford.

Piotr Olejarczyk, who is 26 of Knoll Street in the city, has been remanded in custody.

At around 7.45pm on Friday 10 June 2016, police were called to Hope Street at the junction with Great Clowes Street, Lower Broughton, where they found a man aged 20-years-old with a fatal stab wound to the chest.

He was taken to Salford Royal where he died a short time later.

Two men aged 26 and another aged 49 have been arrested on suspicion of murder and remain in custody.
