Police say a man has died after entering the water at Salford Quays
Police were called just before 11am this morning to reports that a man had entered the water at Ontario Quay, Salford Quays.

"Police were called just before 11am this morning (Thursday 18 November) to reports that a man had entered the water at Ontario Quay, Salford Quays.
Emergency services attended, and a man believed to be in his 60s was taken to hospital, and despite the best efforts of paramedics, pronounced dead a short time later.
Officers are currently at the scene and are working to establish the circumstances around what has happened.
Police aren't looking for anyone else in connection with this incident, and enquiries are ongoing."
