Manchester Winter Run

Published 29th Oct 2015

The Cancer Research UK Winter Run Series is coming to Manchester on February 28th 2016!

After a smash hit first year that saw 15,000 people conquer the cold and run 10km through the iconic, closed-roads streets of Central London, the Cancer Research UK Winter Run Series is back and spreading across the country. Following the sell-out first year in London, two new events have been added in Liverpool (17th Jan) and Manchester (28th Feb) to allow more people than ever to join the fun. All runners are encouraged to raise money for Cancer Research UK, to help them in their incredible efforts to beat cancer sooner.

Defeating the elements, runners and spectators alike will be able to experience the stunning Etihad Campus in all its glory on an awe-inspiring route at the home of Manchester City Football Club. A number of exciting new winter themed features will be included on each route, along with some returning favourites, such as an epic, Giant Snow Zone, and Polar Bear Hugs at the finish.

The Cancer Research UK Manchester Winter Run provides that all important motivation needed to carry on running through the winter months. Whether this is your first ever run or you are looking to beat your previous 10km PB, the Cancer Research UK Manchester Winter Run on the 28th of February is the event for you.
