Pub landlord offers Christmas help as figures reveals 2000 homeless in city centre

Manchester's pledging to help the homeless this Christmas as it's revealed two thousand people are now living on the streets in and around the City Centre.

Official stats that have been gathered by the charity Shelter show at least one in every 266 people in Manchester is now homeless.

A mass appeal's underway to make sure as many people as possible are off the streets on Christmas Day.
