Published 9th Dec 2016

Salford singer-songwriter Shinny joined us backstage at Key 103 Christmas Live to discuss his bid for Christmas number one after successfully beating a drink and drug addiction.

Shinny, real name James Davenport, told Mike Toolan it is a ‘dream come true’ to play in front of the biggest crowd he’s ever played in front of at Key 103 Christmas Live, but despite this he admitted he never gets nervous on stage and can’t wait for his performance.

The singer also teased that a special guest MIGHT be joining him on stage but wouldn't reveal who.
