Scotty T responds to rumours that he's quitting Geordie Shore
Fans worried after he made an announcement on Twitter.
Scotty T has confirmed he’s NOT leaving Geordie Shore and that it was all just an April fools’ joke.
For some fans the news was too much to take, though Scotty soon put them right.
Speaking to our Ents Team, ahead of hosting Floorfillers this Friday evening, he revealed he couldn’t leave because he loves his job too much – especially the partying and the women.
“Why do you think I’d leave Geordie Shore, I am Geordie Shore!” he joked, adding:
“It got me to where I am today so I’m not going to leave, what started me off and got me to where I am now. It’s made me who I am, plus I love it.”
The star won Celebrity Big Brother earlier this year and will present an exciting new show for the next two Friday nights.
Floorfillers will play a mix of the best new dance songs and party anthems from the last 20 years, which suits Scotty T perfectly.
“I like any music, any with a good beat gets me in the mood. I like the oldies, Scooter and that. I’ll see what people are into, it’s going to be a variety. I’m really excited for it.”
The reality star will also tour the UK with The Dreamboys from next week.
