Flash flooding is shining a light on the huge numbers of wet wipes and plastics polluting Greater Manchester's rivers and canals.

Extreme rainfall earlier this month put huge pressure on our sewers - and it's left behind a deluge of waste.

People are being urged NOT TO FLUSH products like wet wipes down the toilet.

Thousands of wet wipes have been found in rivers and canals after a months worth of rain fell in 24 hours earlier this month.

It's costing water companies millions to remove.
