Tributes to young motorcyclist who died in Oldham crash

The family of of a young motorcyclist who died following a crash in Oldham has paid tribute to him as "special" and "unique".

25-year-old Karl Hope was riding his Kawasaki motorbike along Chadderton Way on Friday (29th September) when the collision took place.

In a statement, his family said: “A son, brother, uncle, boyfriend and friend, whose uniqueness was only matched by the love with which he would show to those not only close to him, but each and every individual he met in life.

“Karl leaves behind him, in this most tragic of times, people who will hold close to them and cherish each and every special occasion they had the fortune of sharing with him.

“Words will never truly be able to do justice to how much of an important piece of our lives he was and he will stay with us in each of our passing thoughts from now until the time comes when we may see him again.

“Although all life is special, there were few, if any, whose were as noteworthy as Karl’s was and forever will be to us.”
