There are loads of ondemand TV sites like Netflix floating around now and they offer enough catnip to make potential TV bingers of us all, especially during a bank holiday weekend. But all shows are not created equally bingeable — that is, suitable enough for you to laze on the sofa like the sloth combined with a couch potato and watch episode after episode, hour after hour. So, if you’re looking for your next fix of televisual heaven, here in the Hits Radio offices we’ve chosen our favourite 3 from the very latest data, insights and kitchen arguments - what do you think?

Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt - Starring Ellie Kemper (think The Office, Bridesmaids) as Doomsday cult survivor turned New York nanny, this hilarious comedy is a Netflix Original from the makers of 30 Rock. With a stellar comedy cast and a zany storyline to match, there are two seasons to go at before your sides fully split with laughter. Like David Beckham, this one gets better with age.

Penny Dreadful - Josh Hartnett, Eva Green and Timothy Dalton star in this chilling psychological thriller which weaves together the origin stories of some of literature's most frightening figures. Basically,Doctor Frankenstein, Dorian Gray and iconic figures from the novel Dracula confront their demons in Victorian London! Oh, did we mention this dark and chilling gothic horror has an amazing cast? We did.

24 - Unless you've been living under a rock in Victoria Park since 2001, you'll know the name Jack Bauer, star of the hugely successful tv series 24. A counter-terrorist agent tasked with preventing multiple terrorist plots against the United states, each 1 hour episode features real-time action, complete with countdown clock! With 192 episodes to go at, there's plenty of binge potential here...
