Heaton Park

Heaton Park is Manchester's biggest municipal park covering 600 acres in the northern suburbs of the city. The park is home to the highest point in Manchester it's a great place to walk your dog and take in the views.

Lyme Park

For those who live at the other end of the city, Lyme Park is a huge National Trust estate not far from Stockport. With rolling hills and a deer park is a great spot for you and your dog to get loads of exercise and enjoy the areas beautiful countryside.

Clifton Country Park

Clifton Country Park is Salford's secret beauty spot. North west of the city, this nature reserve has woodland, lakes and fields to explore. If you're out walking with the family as well as the dog there's also a fairytail trail to explore around the lake.

Cholton Waterpark - Fletcher Moss

There's great long walks to be had along the River Mersey and the chance to take in two great Manchester beauty spots - Chorlton Water Park and Fletcher Moss Park.

Located in Didsbury, Fletcher Moss Park is home to botanical gardens and a wildlife habitat and is beautiful in spring as the wild flowers start to bloom.

Taking the path along the river from Fletcher Moss will soon have your stumbling into the lakeside nature reserve of Chorlton Water Park where you can grab a coffee or refuel, it's the perfect place for a picnic.
