It's a big afternoon for Newcastle United Ladies - as they could secure promotion to the 2nd tier of women's football.

The Magpies welcome Huddersfield Town to Kingston Park today for what will be their final home game of the 2023/24 campaign - and Becky Langley's side know that a win would clinch a second promotion in as many seasons.

United have the highest average attendance in the league, with a record 4,256 crowd at Kingston Park watching their 5-1 win over Liverpool Feds last time out - and it is hoped the ground will be just as full when they take on the Terriers this weekend.

The club's X (formerly Twitter) also had some advice for fans travelling to the game:

"With parking in the Kingston Park area extremely limited for Sunday's game, we recommend using public transport to travel to the match.

"Supporters can claim free travel on the X47 bus route, directly serving the stadium, and connecting services with a valid match ticket!

"The stadium is also only a 10-minute walk from Bank Foot and Kingston Park Metro stations. There is a large car park at Callerton Parkway station, only one stop from Bank Foot!"
