Residents and businesses are urged to take part in a short online survey about the work undertaken by the Scarborough Community Alcohol Partnership.

The Scarborough CAP, which involves North Yorkshire Police, Scarborough Borough Council, North Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service, schools, and retailers, says it is working hard to fulfil its vision “to shape a society in which communities work in partnership to ensure that children do not drink alcohol and develop responsible attitudes to drinking as they become adults”.

To help achieve this and further improve the way the partnership deals with underage drinking and alcohol-related anti-social behaviour, they have put together a short online survey which residents and business owners are encouraged to complete as soon as possible.

Reporting incidents

Scarborough CAP is urging people to report any incidents linked to underage drinking, including the supply of it by adults.

Please make a report via the North Yorkshire Police website, email the local policing team at snascarborough@northyorkshire.police.uk, or call 101

Anti-social behaviour can also be reported to Scarborough Borough Council on 01723 383646.
