Two men in court after large amount of drugs found in car near Wetherby

Two men have appeared in court - after a large quantity of drugs were found in a car on the A1 near Wetherby.

Officers pulled the vehicle over around 2pm yesterday - and found suspected cannabis inside.

Two men were arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply. Further detailed searches were carried out at an address in West Yorkshire.

30 year-old Silvio Kondi, from Leeds, and 45 year-old Flamur Saliasi, of no fixed address, appeared at Harrogate Magistrates court - they were remanded in custody and are due back in court later this month.
