Wes wakes you up at the weekends with the biggest hits, biggest throwbacks and pleanty of laughs. Hear him from 6am on Saturdays and from 9am on Sundays with his mate Sheree Murphy.
Wes got into radio presenting by accident reading out traffic and travel reports, before somehow landing the Top 40 chart show gig when he was just 22! After that he’s done TV, had a hit record (Crazy Frog – he’s still sorry about that!), written some books, and had a starring role in the film Love Actually (not that I go on about it).
Wes doesn’t use his surname Butters so much on the radio, especially after South Park hijacked it for that little orange character, or it becoming a slang term for ugly. Brilliant. So these days he just goes with Wes. You can keep up to date with Wes on Twitter @WesButters.
