Landslip closes Isle of Wight road after heavy rain overnight

A landslip following heavy rain has closed the road between Rookley and Niton on the Isle of Wight.

Both lanes of Niton Road, near Rookley, have been blocked by debris.

Island Roads said the road had been closed with immediate effect between Harts Lane and the Chequers Inn.
