Best dog walks in Sheffield:

Norfolk Heritage Park

Despite only being a mile away from the city centre, Norfolk Heritage Park gives off countryside vibes that you and your dog are sure to enjoy. The rural views and listed buildings are great sights to see and there's plenty of space for your dog to run off the lead.

Meersbrook Park

A Green Flag award winning sight boasting a 17 acre green space, Meersbrook Park is set on a steep hillside perfect for you and your dog to tackle. The panoramic views from the top of the hill make it a must see on a sunny day.

Rivelin Valley Nature Trail

With a host of streams for your pooch to jump in and a range of trails to choose from, Rivelin Valley makes a perfect location to experience a scenic and a pleasant walk. It also has a friendly cafe so you and your dog to get some refreshments.

Greno Woods

Just North of Sheffield, Greno Woods is an ancient woodland, rich in wildlife and full of historic interest. It covers 169 hectares and offers excellent opportunities for wildlife watching, exploration and recreation so there's plenty of green space to shake a stick at!

Graves Park

Covering over 206 acres of land, Graves Park is Sheffield's largest park. It's surrounded by woodland with a stream that running through the middle which your four-legged friend will no doubt enjoy exploring with you.

Endcliffe Park

Opened to commemorate the Jubilee of Queen Victoria, Endcliffe Park is 15 hectares of land in the South West corner of Sheffield. It has parkland, woodland, a trial leading to the peaks as well as a cafe for you and your best friend can have a break and take in the fantastic views.

Hillsborough Park

Great for having your dogs off the lead, Hillsborough Park boasts a large open space with benches to watch them race around. There's also a pond that you can both walk around, feed the ducks and take in the Sheffield sights

Dam Flask

Situated near the charming village of Low Bradfield, this long circular route gives ample scope to enjoy long stretches of woodland and waterside which is sure to get your pup's tail wagging. The route also offers fantastic panoramic views across Damflask Reservoir.
