City travel to Burnley & United host West Ham: Weekend Football Preview

Blues and Reds face tough weekend.

City take on Burnley at Turf Moor in the day's early kick off. Pep Guardiola will go top of the league if they gain three points against Sean Dyche’s side who are coming of the back off a massive 4 – 0 away defeat to West Brom on Monday evening.

Speaking ahead of the game Guardiola noted:

“We can't forget they (Burnley) beat Liverpool, lost in the 93rd minute against Arsenal and drew at Old Trafford. What they do, they do really well."

City will be without Captain Vincent Kompany who is absent with a knee injury as well as Sergio

Aguero and Pablo Zabaleta both being doubts.

On the Red side of Manchester, United will play host to struggling West Ham United at Old Trafford on Sunday and will be looking replicate their display against Feynoord last night.

Zlatan Ibrahimović will be available after serving his domestic suspension but Mourinho will be without centre backs Eric Bailly and Chris Smalling. The United boss also has to makae a decision whether to play veteran midfielder Michael Carrick for what would be his third game in nine days.

In League One as Bolton travel to Northampton, Bury face Milwall at home and Oldham host Peterborough Town.
