Ed Sheeran given Ipswich Town shirt number for third consecutive season

Ipswich Town's confirming its squad numbers for the 2023/24 season.

The majority of the playing squad will retain their numbers from last season, but defender Harry Clarke has switched to take the vacant number two shirt.

New signing Jack Taylor takes the number 14 shirt, with Omari Hutchinson wearing 20 and Cieran Slicker 13.

George Hirst, who signed to the Blues on a permanent deal this summer, will continue in the number 27 shirt he wore during his loan spell last season.

The club's front-of-shirt sponsor, Ed Sheeran, has been given the number 17 shirt for the third-successive season.
