The Essex Partnership University NHS Foundation Trust is looking people across Essex and Suffolk to help roll out the Oxford/AstraZenaca and Pfizer/Biontech jabs.

It's looking to recruit the following temporary roles:

  • Registered clinical managers
  • Registered healthcare professionals
  • Immunisers
  • Healthcare assistants
  • Bank admit support
  • Volunteers stewards

Lisa Llewelyn, Director of Workforce at Suffolk and North East Essex Integrated Care System, explained it's important to ensure they have enough staff on hand.

She said: "There are a number of our workforce colleagues who are either isolating or absent because of Covid, therefore we need to make sure we have sufficient numbers. It's an ongoing campaign and we've had a wonderful response so far.

"We still need a number of people to come and join us, so we would welcome anybody who is willing to devote their time to help us with this programme."

"We have got a commitment to deliver this programme, and we are going to do it."

Local vaccination centres will be open from 8am-8pm seven days a week, and people are encouraged to apply if they think they can help.

Anyone interested in the above paid roles should contact epunft.recruitment.covid-19@nhs.net.

Those who want to become a volunteer steward should email epunft.businesssupport.volunteering.nhs.net.
