A man has appeared in court charged with the murder of teenager Jamie Meah in Leeds in March 2023.

Mr. Meah was stabbed to death in Hall Lane, Armley, just days after he turned 18.

West Yorkshire Police arrested 22-year-old Ranei Wilks at Leeds Bradford Airport on Thursday night (April 18), after he arrived on a flight from Turkey.

He has been remanded in custody and is due to appear in court next Tuesday (April 23).

Police are still looking for three men they want to speak to over Jamie Meah's death, who it is believed have fled the country.

Anyone with information about Aquade Jeffers, Caleb Awe, and Enham Nishat, all aged 21, is asked to contact West Yorkshire Police.
