Social media site Bebo is making a COMEBACK

We are all obsessed with social network sites such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and TikTok now, but if you cast your minds back to the 2000s, it was things like Bebo and Myspace that really kicked off the world of social networking.

American website Bebo first launched in 2005, before it closed down in 2013 after it went bankrupt.

Well, we have some amazing news for you, because Bebo is making a comeback in 2021 and we couldn't be more excited!

When you attempt to click onto Bebo's website, users are greeted with a lovely message which confirms the platform will be back in February 2021.

It says, 'Bebo is coming back in February 2021 as a brand new social network. We are currently in private beta. If you've been invited please enter the password below.'

HOWEVER, the bad news about the re-launch is that any old photos and data users used to have on their accounts have now gone, with the site showing a message reading, 'PLEASE NOTE: All old data and photos were lost many years ago and are not recoverable. Sorry.'

After hearing the news, many fans of the site were quick to share their excitement.

One user wrote, 'y’all bebo coming back in February, ready to put my music on my page like old times', with another adding, 'y’all bebo coming back in February, ready to put my music on my page like old times'. (sic)

Another added, 'BEBO coming back feb 2021 Smirking face gotta know I’m going back already know my skin & song ima have on my page'. (sic)
