Clash Of The Cupcakes… Winner Revealed!
Did you munch on Mike… or chew on Chelsea?!
For Key103’s Big Bake Day with our charity Cash For Kids, the winner of Clash Of The Cupcakes has been revealed!
Local bakers Greenhalghs offered to sell a Mike and a Chelsea cupcake, with all the proceeds going to support local sick and disadvantaged children.
Over the last couple of weeks, thousands have been sold at over 40 Greenhalghs shops right across Greater Manchester… but there could only be one winner!
The result = Chelsea 56%... Mike 44%!
Mike even attempted to fix the score by visiting the Altrincham shop and buying 10 cakes with his face on – but this had very little effect on the final result!
Chelsea was so chuffed with her win, saying “a huge thank you if you bought a cupcake with my face on it! This just goes to prove that the fairer sex are also sweeter and tastier… and I love the fact that Mike is left with a bitter aftertaste!”
