Nando's have added halloumi sticks to their menu and cheese fans can't get enough of it

Last week we had the announcement of the cheese Easter egg, and now Nando's has added halloumi sticks to its menu. What a time to be a cheese fan!
Nando's made the exciting announcement simply posting a photo of the new item on Twitter saying, 'We’ll just leave this here…'
At the time of writing, this tweet has now had over 1K hearts and nearly 500 comments with many fans asking when it will be available to order.
Before you rush down to your nearest Nando's hold tight! We'll have to wait just one day before they are available to order at Nando's restaurants up and down the country.
As more and more fans commented on the addition to the menu, one user said, 'Please god tell me that's halloumi fries', to which someone responded with a gif of a Minion dancing and the caption, 'If it is 🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼.
However the idea of halloumi sticks seemed to be lost on some people who asked if it was some type of dessert, with one person responding, 'Far from a desert 🤦🏽♂️'. sic
So what does this exciting new menu addition involve? Well customers will get five sticks of halloumi, complete with a pot of sweet chilli jam for £3.70.
And that's not all. Good news for vegetarians! Nando's is adding a new vegetarian-friendly dish to its menu. The new dish is based on traditional Portuguese and South African recipes and includes chickpeas, beans and chargrilled vegetables in a tomato and coconut sauce.
