Snapchat's brand new filter uncovers a painting on the new £20 note

There's a new £20 note that's been put into circulation in the UK today (20th Feb). The new polymer bank note is made from the same material as the new £5 and £10 notes, and is officially now in circulation.
But the most exciting news about the new note - which features artist JMW Turner - isn't actually the note itself... It's what you can do with it, providing you've got Snapchat on your phone.
The creators of Snapchat have released a brand new Lens to mark the occasion, and it's pretty cool. Pointing the Lens at the bank note will reveal an augmented reality video before your very eyes, with the artist's face disappearing on the note to reveal one of his paintings - 'The Fighting Temeraire', currently on display at The National Gallery in London.
The steps are simple - open your Snapchat app, point the camera at the Snapcode below and press and hold to unlock the lens. Then, hover the camera over the note and watch it unfold!
Fans of the new Lens have taken to Twitter to share pictures and videos of what happens - and it's safe to say that it's really very impressive.
