It looks like Kendrick Lamar has just announced a fourth album is coming.

Well the rapper’s definitely got something up his sleeve, he’s deleted all his previous Instagram posts and posted an ‘IV’ image.

Many are taking the image to be a reference to an upcoming fourth album, following on from his album’s ‘Section 8.0’ ‘good kid Maad city’ and ‘To Pimp A Butterfly’. This logic doesn’t include Kendrick’s mixtapes ‘Overly Dedicated’ and last year’s ‘untitled unmastered’.

Kendrick is due to headline Coachella Festival, which kicks off in a few weeks on 14th April. So it would make sense to expect new music from the rapper soon. Finger’s crossed!

2015’s ‘To Pimp A Butterfly’ scooped 5 awards at the 2016’s GRAMMYs including Best Rap Album, Best Rap Song and Video of the Year.

Most recently, Kendrick appeared as a guest on The Weeknd’s album ‘Starboy’, appearing on the track ‘Sidewalks’.
