Music service Bandcamp has pledged to continue supporting artists and labels under pressure from the COVID-19 pandemic in 2022

Since the start of the COVID-19 pandemic, Bandcamp has been supporting the music community through Bandcamp Fridays, where on the first Friday of the month the organisation have waived their fees and given their share directly to artists and independent labels.
Over the course of 17 dedicated days so far, 800,000 fans paid artists and labels over $70 million across the events.
Beginning in early 2020, the music service announced that they are continuing the scheme over 2021 to help support the music community.
