LA-based percussionist, producer and composer Carlos Niño has released More Energy Fields, Current via International Anthem, with it being released physically in June 2021.

More Energy Fields, Current is a definitive new peak in the recorded continuum of Niño – a prolific producer, percussionist, and self-identified “Communicator.”

Featuring contributions from many Los Angeles-based instrumentalists including Jamael Dean, Nate Mercereau, Sam Gendel, and Jamire Williams.

The record also features the multi-Jazz FM Award winning saxophonist, composer and bandleader Shabaka Hutchings as well as Mike D (of the Beastie Boys).

Carlos Niño & Friends' More Energy Fields, Current is released digitally on the 7th of May 2021 via the Chicago-based label International Anthem.

More Energy Fields, Current will also be released on LP and CD on the 25th of June.
