US blues man Fernando Jones, born in the rough and tumble of Chicago's Southside, brought his three chords and the truth to the East End of London with workshops and tuition for aspiring young musicians from the UK, USA and Israel. The Premises Studios played host to the Blues Camp with support from The Blues Kids Foundation which was set up to preserve, perform and promote the Blues among America's youth and beyond with a classroom culture and connections to academic institutions and the Chicago Blues Festival. Fernando Jones is executive director.

Three rooms at The Premises gave Fernando a chance to interact with kids aged 12 -18. The Blues Kids Foundation has created over 200 scholarships for promising players.
