One of the key voices of neo soul, Jill Scott, has announced several London dates in summer of 2023, as part of an extensive anniversary tour.

The tour originally began as a 20th-anniversary celebration of Jill Scott's chart-topping, genre-defining album Who Is Scott?: Words and Sounds Vol I in 2020, which ended prematurely due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

2023 will see the resummation of the celebrations, paying tribute to a moment and movement that continues to enthral music lovers of all ages and backgrounds. Scott will play the iconic album front to back, with hits from her iconic debut album, such as 'Gettin’ in the Way,' 'A Long Walk', and other musical stories.

Who Is Jill Scott, Words and Sounds Vol. 1 was originally released in July 2000

Originally championed by fellow Philadelphian Ahmir Kalib "Questlove" Thompson, Jill Scott's debut album Who Is Jill Scott? is often marked as one of the pivotal neo-soul albums of the late 1990s and early 2000s, and led to several Grammy Award nominations, including "Best R&B Album" in 2001.

During her career, Jill Scott has gone on to win three Grammy Awards since, in 2005, 2007 and again in 2008.

When are the Jill Scott 2023 tour dates?

The two London dates are happening on the 11th and 12th of July 2023, and are both taking place at the Eventim Apollo, in Hammersmith.

There will also be a performance at the Grand Rex, in Paris, France, on the 15th of July 2023.

These are currently the only UK and European dates announced, but there are an extensive set of USA dates which take place from February until June 2023.

When are the Jill Scott London 2023 tickets on sale?

The presale tickets are on sale from 1000 UTC on the 16 February (on Ticketmaster), with general on sale available from 1000 UTC on 17 February.
