Saxophone giant Kamasi Washington has released a jazz soundtrack for the new Michelle Obama Netflix documentary Becoming, released today via Young Turks.
The 15-track album accompanies the documentary of Michelle Obama's tour supporting her global best selling book, Becoming: A Guided Journal for Discovering Your Voice.
The show’s director Nadia Hallgren said, “Working with Kamasi Washington on the musical score for Becoming was a dream come true... Not only is Kamasi a masterful musician, he also has a unique sensitivity that he pours into his music.
