Soul singer Laura Mvula has embarked on an audacious re-recording of her award winning debut album 'Sing To The Moon' with the backing of Holland's renowned Metropole Orkest. The new recording done at the iconic Abbey Studios in London may well have trumped the original release as it adds layers of quality virtuoso brass and strings from the 52 piece orchestra conducted by Jules Buckley, one of the most in demand young orchestrators.

The Metropole Orkest are known for their unique partnerships in music from Ella Fitzgerald to Bono, Elvis Costello, Gregory Porter and the Basement Jaxx amongst others.

The album has been released on a low key and is available now on all formats.
