We're proud to announce a new series - Live At Ronnie Scott’s. In Jazz FM’s 30th anniversary year, we've invited Mike Vitti to host a series of programmes, showcasing four spectacular and unreleased recordings from the world famous Ronnie Scott’s Jazz Club in London.

Jazz FM Awards 2020 nominee Ashley Henry kicked the series off with what turned out to be the final performance at the club just as the lockdown was beginning, recorded with his trio, socially-distanced in an empty Ronnie Scott’s but broadcast online to jazz fans around the world. In the series, we'll also hear from the infamous trombonist Fred Wesley, a long-time player with James Brown and Parliament-Funkadelic, plus British jazz-funk pioneer Bluey and Incognito.

The four-part series is rounded off with a world exclusive play of highlights from George Benson’s Autumn release Weekend In London (available to pre-order here), which was recorded at the club just last year. Only two tracks from this intimate performance of George’s best known work have ever been heard, so the Jazz FM audience is in for a real treat.

Relive the power of live music and join us for Live at Ronnie Scott's, starting this Saturday from 9pm.
