London’s La Linea Festival returns

The line-up has been revealed for the annual celebration of Latin music

The UK’s ‘La Linea’ festival of Latin music is set to return next year, including a solo show at the Royal Albert Hall from Eliades Ochoa, the frontman of Buena Vista Social Club (who played their farewell tour here two years ago). Other shows include Mexican composer and performer Camilo Lara with his latest ‘Mexrrissey’ project at The Barbican, and the UK premier of Sonorama – a celebration of Latin music on film with a big screen and live band. Also on the initial bill is Chilean-French singer Ana Tijoux and London-based Iranian/Cuban quartet Ariwo. It all runs from the 20-30 April, with full listings and venues below:

Wednesday 25 April - Eliades Ochoa – Royal Albert Hall

Thursday 26 April - Ana Tijoux – The Jazz Café

Monday 30 April - La Pegatina – Electric Brixton
