The first releases on United Souls highlight the musical legacy of two of the most celebrated acts in soul history, The O’Jays and The Isley Brothers and are available now. At the beginning of 2021, United Soul will have two new releases in this new ‘Best Of’ series will feature two of the greatest soul singers, the legendary Gladys Knight and Phyllis Hyman.

The Best of The O’Jays reflects that magical time in the 1970s when the group first broke through into the American and British mainstream with such memorable hits on Philadelphia International Records as ‘Love Train’, ‘Put Your Hands Together’, ‘Now That We Found Love’, ‘Backstabbers’, ‘Used Ta Be My Girl’ and ‘Brandy’.

The Isley Brothers At Their Very Best pays tribute to a much-loved band that has been delighting audiences since the 1950s, both on international stages and on record, as it moved from its roots in gospel and doo-wop through funk, rock and slow-jam R’n’B, collecting legions of new fans along the way. This welcome 2LP collection catches up with the group in 1969 when they were already seasoned recording artists and includes their evergreen hits such as ‘Who’s That Lady?’, ‘Summer Breeze’, ‘Harvest for the World’ and ‘Fight The Power’.
