My first show on Jazz FM was on the opening day of the station, 4th March 1990.
What is your fondest memory on air?
My fondest memory on air was interviewing the Dirty Dozen Brass band, whom I’d met in New Orleans a decade earlier.
What are your top 3 favourite jazz albums of all time?
Miles Davis Kind of Blue, Abbey Lincoln's A Turtle’s Dream and finally Kenny Wheeler's Music For Large And Small Ensembles.
What is your most memorable jazz gig?
Dianne Reeves at the Brecon Jazz Festival in 2001.
